We are located in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise National Park, near Lake Barrea, nestled between the Sangro River, beech forests, and a beautiful black pine forest. A characteristic of this small mountain village is the presence of numerous deer, easily encountered along the village streets. The presence of this friendly animal confirms the presence of the park's highest predator, the wolf; just walk near the village and you can hear their howls. Thanks to the B&B's central location, you can explore enchanting mountain trails, ranging from easy walks accessible to all to more challenging hikes. The ski slopes of Passo Godi, 12 km away, and Pescasseroli, 15 km away, are easily accessible by car, as are the cross-country ski slopes of Macchiarvana, among the most beautiful and extensive in central and southern Italy.
